USD/KZT at the day closing - 132.33/43 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Sep.02, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of closing of the Kazakhstan OTC market on September 02 tenge quotations were made 132.33 (demand) / 132.43 (supply) tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate 132.29 (+0.17) and quotations at session closing 132.29/30. By the dealers' over-the-counter quotations, tenge in comparison with the previous day dropped by 15 points both on demand and on supply. Tendency of dollar strengthening become visible to the day ending, dollar price was remarkable more than exchange rate. The spreads varied after dinner from 5 to 11 points with an average 9. The forecast for Friday is not unequivocal. By the technical market indicators, the exchange will open tomorrow above 132.29. However it is necessary to take into account the National Bank position, which today (unlike the previous days), actively traded by US dollar. The great demand of the banks at the Thursday's note-28 placement also testifies to decrease of banks activity in the currency sector, especially if to take into account the ordinary volume of the state securities redemption in the current week. In the IRBIS analysts' opinion, the change of a dollar market rate on Friday will be not so essential as today. The dollar has approximately equal chances to lose or to acquire of some points.
