/IRBIS, Aug.24, 99/ - According to the letter of the National Securities Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Central Securities Depository, issue of MEKAVM-3 KZ43L3008992 of May 31, 1999 will be redeemed by the Ministry of Finance on August 27, 1999.

Early redemption is due to the fact that August 30, 1999 - securities redemption date informed before, falls on weekend.

Redemption volume is $16.3 mln, which is equal to 2,147.9 mln tenge at official exchange rate as of August 24.
