Halyk Finance, subsidiary organization of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, says Kazakhtelecom (Kazakhstan) management met with analysts and journalists

/KASE, May 18, 12/ - JSC "Subsidiary organization of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" joint-stock company" (Almaty) has provided Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) with the following communique of May 15, 2012: quote Kazakhtelecom today held a meeting with analysts and journalists. The main issues mentioned by the management are as follows: - Dividends of as much as KZT19.998 will be paid out on common and preferred shares. Dividends on preferred stocks will be paid out a day earlier than on common shares. - Dividends pay-out ratio is going to remain at 30% in 2012. Before 2011 it made up 17.5%. - It is expected that in 2012 revenues will make up KZT177 bn, and the net income - KZT22 bn (without taking into account the sale of a 49% portion in GSM Kazakhstan, which is close to our forecasts (KZT175 bn and KZT20 bn, respectively). - Just as we expected, the company is to be focused on developing broad- band access (BBA) to the Internet and LTE-based (Altel) mobile Internet as main growth points. - Currently, Kazakhtelecom has already 1 m BBA subscribers. In 2012-2014 another 150-160 thousand clients are expected to be recruited. In 2014 the number of BBA subscribers will rise to 1.5 m. The growth rate in this field is slightly higher than our expectations. - For the time being only Kazakhtelecom has a license for LTE in Kazakhstan. This year already a pilot project on LTE launch will be implemented in Almaty and Astana. Other major cities will be added to the list in 2013-2014. In 2012 expenditures on this project will make up KZT15-20 bn. The overall costs of the project are estimated at KZT60 bn. Kazakhtelecom assumes to increase its market share in the mobile communications to 22%, using LTE. (New information.) - Annual expenditures are planned to be at KZT60-65 bn.
