/IRBIS, Aug.16, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at closing of over-the-counter foreign exchange market of Kazakhstan on August 16 tenge quotations towards US dollar have made 131.89 (demand) / 131.99 (supply) tenge per dollar with the weighted average Exchange's price of 132.02 (+0.13) and the quotes at closing of the Exchange's session of 131.96 / 132.01.

Compared to closing of the previous day, based on dealers' quotations, tenge increased by 1 point on demand against US dollar and by 1 point on supply.

After the trades at KASE dollar quotations both on demand and supply remained below the weighted average rate of KASE.
