/KASE, April 28, 12/ - Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) Board of Directors, the new Chairman of Exchange Council Committee
for Financial Statements and Issuer Audit is Zhanat Kurmanov, independent
director of JSC "Civil Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC
"Kazakhstan's Deposits Guarantee Fund", JSC "Halyk Finance", Subsidiary
organization of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan".
KASE reminds that Exchange Council Committee for Financial Statements and
Issuer Audit is a permanent external body of KASE whose main responsibilities
include:
- considering auditors' reports on issuers' financial statements (auditors'
reports on review of issuers' interim financial statements, special purpose
auditors' reports on unit investment trusts), whose securities are either
supposed to be included or have been included in the official list, as well as
financial statements attached thereto, and preparing appropriate information
on results of such consideration;
- compiling the list of auditing organizations recognized by KASE as for
inclusion of securities into the official list and their presence in that list.
