The feature of the day is the dealers recognized to the full the National
Banks position, explained in interview of the last days and excluding
significant fluctuations of the dollar exchange rate. It is possible to tell
today, that a tension caused by the failure of negotiations with IMF and by
the Russian events, behind. The market has returned to a habitual condition,
characteristic for the second half of July and beginning of August. The
tendencies of tenge strengthening remain changeless.
The experts of IRBIS consider, that the alternative - note-21 or dollar -
will be tomorrow not so urgent, and the preference will be given up to the
notes. Therefore further insignificant tenge strengthening is rather probable.
