Share of the over-the-counter market for state securities on August 06 - 65.6%

/IRBIS, 09.08.99/ - Based on the data of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and the Central Depository, on August 06 share of the over-the-counter market for state securities for comparable operations has made 65.1%. For August 05 this number was equal to 24.9%. Based on the results of the day, it's evident that a ban on striking direct deals in the buy and sell sector for state securities of the stock exchange will result in gradual withdrawal of stock exchange operators from the trade floor. Free and transparent market for state securities cannot be created, because most of the market-makers are not interested in the existence of it.
