/IRBIS, 06.08.99/ - According to REUTERS at closing of the Kazakhstan over-the-counter exchange market were fixed the next rates KZT per USD: 131.58 (demand) / 131.78 (supply) with weighted average exchange price 131.51 (-0.16) and closing quotations 131.59 / 131.65. In comparison with closing of the previous day the tenge quotations increased for demand by 0.02 tenge per dollar, and decreased for supply by 0.05 tenge per dollar. After closing of trade the quotations of dollar in the interbank exchange system varied about the average weighted market rate. The news about the Stepashin's cabinet resignation in some degree affects the Kazakhstan market, and dollar rate has increased in the REUTERS system from 131.59 / 131.72 to 131.60 / 132.75. This situation was used by dealers for selling the dollars on advantageous terms. The prices of supply changed in the quite width interval: from 131.59 to 131.72, while prices of demand were practically changeless. In comparison with the yesterdays quoting in the REUTERS information system was carried out more active, what can be explained as influence of the Russia crisis. The main feature of the day is participants' attempt to sell dollars under very high prices using the negative Russian news. However, as the experience shows (and it, due to often resignations of the Russia government, is quite rich), such speculations for the dollar rise hardly can be successful. There are another strong factors, which capable to influence the Kazakhstan exchange market. According to the IRBIS' analysts opinion, on Tuesday dollar rate despite the Russia crisis will do not change remarkable.
