Value of the subsistence minimum amounted to KZT 15,619 in Kazakhstan in December 2011

/IRBIS, January 4, 2012/ - Subsistence minimum in December 2011 amounted to 15,619 tenge, was indicated in the message released today by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics. The subsistence minimum in the average per capita, calculated on the basis of the minimum standards of consumption of basic foodstuffs, in December 2011 compared to the previous month increased by 1%, December 2010 -by 13.8%. Minimum consumption basket is a minimum set of food, goods and services needed for human life in physical and value terms. It consists of a food basket and a fixed percentage of expenditure on non-food goods and paid services.
