Managing director of service projects of JSC "NC "KazMunaiGas" Magzum Mirzagaliev informed the meeting about the results of KMG Group of Companies to develop local content and interact with companies in Almaty and Almaty region this year. It is reported that this year KMG bought from the enterprises in the region goods worth 68.2 billion tenge, the works - 57.3 billion tenge, services - 34.4 billion tenge, including small and medium enterprises - 63.8 billion, from domestic producers who are in the registry of JSC "National Welfare Fund "SK" - 12.7 billion tenge. "Holding such measures for the development of local content opens up great opportunities for direct experience exchange and cooperation with domestic producers. Thus, in the current year KMG concluded 3036 contracts totaling $ 160.1 billion with suppliers of Almaty and Almaty oblast. In procurement of Group KMG share of suppliers of Almaty region is about 17% and there are prospects for further growth", - said M. Mirzagaliev. Also, JSC NC "KazMunayGas" has developed a catalog of products planned to purchase by group of companies KMG in 2012-2016, which includes information on the requirements for basic goods of KMG subsidiaries, including KazMunayGas Exploration Production JCS, " KazTransOil" JSC, "KTG" and JSC "KazMunayGas - refining and marketing". Furthermore, plans for the procurement of goods, works and services of all subsidiaries of KMG in 2012 were drafted. In order to make informational supply for Kazakh suppliers of goods, works and services the needs of KMG in the medium and long term, electronic catalogs and procurement plans were circulated to Kazakh suppliers and posted on the corporate website of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" (www.kmg.kz).
