BAE Systems may sell part of its stake in "Air Astana" JCS during the "People's IPO"

/IRBIS, September 22, 2011/ - British BAE Systems, which owns
49%-share in the capital of JSC "Air Astana", may sell part of its
stake in the upcoming IPO, said chief executive Peter Foster said
today IA News-Kazakhstan.
JSC "Air Astana" is a joint venture of JSC "National Welfare Fund
"SK" and British company BAE Systems PLC, with a share of
51% and 49%, respectively.
"Once the decision was not adopted, but it is clear that the "SK"
will retain a majority stake", - said Foster, speaking about who will
make the seller shares of the airline.
"This is all being discussed", - he added, responding to
journalists' question whether the additional issue be carried out or
BAE Systems to sell part of its stake in the airline.
It is reported that shares of JSC "Air Astana", together with JSC
"KazTransOil" and KEGOC and will be offered to the public in the
first phase of the program "The People's IPO" - in the second and
third quarters of 2012.
