Analysts had expected value of the index in August to be 53.5 points. The volume of industrial orders in the U.S. in July 2011 increased by 2.4% to $ 453.2 million. Analysts had expected growth rate of 1.8%. The number of jobs in private companies in the USA in August 2011, according to Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) has increased by 91 thousand compared to July. FTSE 100 Index - stock index, calculated Agency Financial Times based on rates of 100 companies with the largest capitalization on the list of the London Stock Exchange. DAX - Germany's stock index. Calculated as weighted average capitalization value of stock prices of the largest companies in Germany. CAC 40 - France's stock market index.
