Indices of stock markets of developing countries on
Wednesday closed the day with multi-directional change.
Some markets acted out the growth in the world on the eve:
recall, trading on the stock markets of USA and Europe on
Tuesday ended mostly in positive territory. Factor of support
was the decision on reversal of the U.S. Federal Reserve
maintaining the federal funds rate at a record low of 0.25% per
annum. As noted in its report to the Fed keeping rates at a
level expected until 2013. On the other hand, events in Europe
had a lot of pressure. So, on Wednesday there was a rumor
that France after the U.S. might lose its highest credit rating of
AAA. These messages, however, not confirmed by official
information, was the catalyst for the active sales of shares of
French banks. In particular, the shares of Sosiete Generale fell
by 14.7%, Credit Agricole - by 11.8%, BNP Paribas - by 9.5%.
And although later international agencies Standard & Poor's
and Moody's confirmed the rating of France saved by AAA with
a favorable prognosis (formerly Fitch also affirmed France),
negative investor sentiment still won.
