On August 1, 2011 the amount of debt of Kazakhstan, issued in the form of government securities together with servicing amounted to KZT3,462.7 billion ($23,694.3 million)

/IRBIS, August 3, 2011/ - On August 1, 2011 public debt of Kazakhstan, issued in the form of government securities (GS), together with the service (the sum of coupon payments) amounted at current prices KZT 3,462.7 billion or equivalent to 23,694.3 million U.S. dollars on the rate of 146.14 tenge per U.S. dollar. This was conclusion of IRBIS specialists in the analysis of their own databases. In conducting this analysis, the amount of future payments and MEUJKAM and MUIKAM calculated taking into account the consumer price index, which was recorded for the period May 2009 to July 2011. From July 01 to July 31, 2011 total debt fell by 128.8 billion tenge (- 3.6%) or in dollar terms - by $ 862.7 million (-3.5%). In June 2011, total debt increased by KZT 37.6 billion (+1.1%) or in dollar terms - by $ 104.7 million (+0.4%). According to information available to the IRBIS, the volume of GS from the National Bank of Kazakhstan in July 2011 on the amounts of placement was 183,618.9 million tenge (in June 2011 - 454,448.4 million tenge). Meanwhile issuer redeemed the notes to the amount of 345,372.6 million tenge (June - 444,165.8 million tenge). Thus, the July balance of net borrowing of National Bank on the government securities market amounted to minus 161,753.7 mln. The corresponding figure in June 2011 was plus 10,282.6 million tenge ("minus" sign in the exponent of balance means that the amount was withdrawn from the budget of the issuer and has remained among investors, "plus" - for that amount the issuer has taken longer than repaid). Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has attracted over the period 46,861.5 million tenge (in June 2011 - 37,087.3 million tenge), but paid the par value of bonds and coupon 40,842.5 million tenge (in June - 30,713.8 million tenge). The July net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance was estimated by IRBIS as plus 6,019.0 million tenge (in June of 2011 - plus 6,373.6 million tenge). In July 2011 the total net borrowing balance of Kazakh issuers of GS is estimated at minus 155,734.7 million tenge. The corresponding figure in June 2011 was plus 16,656.2 mln.
