Net profit of "KazTransOil" JCS in January-June 2011 increased by 17%

/IRBIS, July 15, 2011/ - Net profit of JSC "KazTransOil" for 6 months in 2011 increased by 17% compared to the corresponding period of 2010, amounting to 26.3 billion tenge, was indicated in the July 14 statement. Thus, consolidated operating income for the first half of 2011amounted to 71.5 billion tenge, which is 9% above the target, and 5% - comparing to the same period of 2010. This exceed of the plan is due to increased volumes of oil transportation. "In this case, general and administrative expenses for the first six months, compared with same period last year, were reduced by 37% to KZT 1.4 billion", - was stated in the message. On the actual data volume of oil transportation via main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" in January-June 2011 amounted to 27.3 million tons. Compared to the same period of 2010 the volume of oil transportation grew by 1.3 million tons, or 5% (a fact for January - June 2010 totaled 25.9 million tons). Throughput of the system of JSC "KazTransOil" in the first half of 2011 amounted to 17.7 billion tons km. In the same period last year the figure rose by 1.7 billion tons km, or 6% (fact for 6 months of 2010 amounted to 16.6 billion tons km). In turn, consolidated volume of transportation of JSC "KazTransOil", taking into account the supply of oil through pipelines of JSC "NWPC "Munaitas"- Kenkiyak - Atyrau, LLP "Kazakhstan-China Pipeline"- Atasu - Alashankou and Kenkiyak - Kumkol, crude oil and petroleum products through Batumi Oil Terminal was 33.7 million tons.
