Indices of stock markets of developing countries on Friday
showed mostly decline amid falling markets of commodities.
The pressure was exerted by concerns about slowing global
economic growth. As it became known, the prices of imports to
the U.S. in May 2011 increased by 0.2% for the month and by
12.5% on an annualized basis. Analysts had expected
decrease in prices by 0.7% for the month and 11.5% on an
annualized basis. A trade surplus of China in May 2011 rose to
U.S. $13 billion, analysts expected the value of 19.8 billion
dollars. The growth of China's exports went up only by 19.4%
against 29.9% in April, analysts were expecting growth by
20.4%.
