U.S. crude stocks last week rose 1.7 million barrels - official EIA data

/IRBIS, March 17, 2011/ - Energy Information Administration (EIA) of U.S. Department of Energy published a report that the oil reserves in the U.S. for the week that ended March 11, 2011, increased by 1.745 million barrels to 350.636 million. Gasoline inventories declined by 4.174 million barrels to 225.040 million, while distillate inventories - at 2.601 million barrels to 152.608 million. Earlier, the American Petroleum Institute (API) published its report, where it was stated that during the period, commercial U.S. crude stocks rose by 91.0 thousand barrels to 348.619 million. Gasoline inventories fell by 458.0 million barrels to 230.247 million and distillate stocks rose - to 531.0 million barrels to 155.644 million. [2011-03-17]
