Results of trading on the ETC Commodity Exchange section futures market on Feb. 21, 2011
/IRBIS, February 21, 2011/ - Today, the "ETC" Commodity Exchange section in the derivatives market were trading deliverable commodity futures contracts.
Following the auction was concluded a deal with contracts for refined gold bullion for delivery in March 2011, with 16 open positions. Transaction volume amounted to 409,332 KZT (2 contracts). The transaction price amounted to 1,400 U.S. dollars for 1 ounce (0.73%).
It was also concluded a deal with contracts for refined gold bullion for delivery in June 2011. Transaction volume amounted to 1,026,619.3 KZT (5 contracts). The transaction price amounted to 1,404.5 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce (0.83%)
In addition, the trades contracts for the supply of wheat of class 3 and 4, with delivery in March, April, May, June, July and August 2011.
Following the auction were signed four deals with contracts for the supply of wheat of class 3 with delivery in March 2011. The volume of transactions amounted to 35.88 million KZT (12 contracts). The minimum price of the transactions amounted to 45,500 KZT per ton, maximum - 46,500 KZT per ton.
Were also signed four deals with contracts for the supply of wheat of class 3 with delivery in May 2011. The volume of transactions amounted to 36.66 million KZT (12 contracts). The minimum price of the transactions amounted to 46 500 KZT per ton, max - 47,500 KZT per ton.
In addition, 4 deals were signed to contracts for the supply of wheat of class 3 with delivery in August 2011. The volume of transactions amounted to 87.36 million KZT (12 contracts). The minimum price of transactions amounted to 47,500 KZT per ton, max - 48,500 KZT per ton.
Estimated futures prices for wheat of class 3 with delivery in April, June and July 2011 have not changed and amounted to 45,000, 45,750 and 46,000 KZT per ton, respectively.
Settlement prices of futures for wheat Class 4 with delivery in March, April, May, June, July and August 2011 and have not changed and amounted to 34,800, 35,400, 35,500, 39,500, 39,600 and 40,840 KZT per ton, respectively.
