Stock indices of emerging markets on Friday closed lower. The pressure
exerted weak macroeconomic statistics from the U.S. U.S. Labor Department
reported that the number of jobs outside of agriculture in December 2010
increased by 103.0 million with the fact that analysts had forecast an increase
of 150.0 thousand jobs. Speech by the head of the U.S. Federal Reserve
before the Senate Budget Committee also exerted pressure. He noted that the
U.S. economy begins to increase growth, but labor market recovery could take
years. "It takes a lot of time before the unemployment rate returns to normal
levels. Persistently high unemployment has a negative impact on household
incomes and confidence in the economy, which poses a threat to the
