ATFBank (Kazakhstan) says it was Top Rated by Global Custodian magazine

According to a survey of custodians in emerging markets, with Kazakhstan included, conducted by the "Global Custodian" magazine (Agent Banks in Emerging Markets Survey 2010), ATFBank has obtained the highest ranking possible - Top Rated - in "Local Clients" and "Foreign Client" categories in 2010. Also, ATFBank fetched the second best - "Commended" - ranking in "Large Clients" category.
ATFBank is one of the two banks in Kazakhstan rated by the "Global Custodian".
The "Global Custodian"'s annual rating is based on clients' opinions on custodians' services. Every year custodians from 68 countries with emerging stock markets come under scrutiny.
The "Global Custodian" magazine, founded in 1989, is one of the most prominent global professional mass-media writing about services in the stock markets.
ATF Bank entered the custodian services market in 1998. Its first clients were local pension funds and foreign institutional investors. Today, ATFBank is one of the largest custodians in Kazakhstan, with more than 400 clients and sub-clients, including pension funds, unit trusts and joint-stock investment funds, brokers and dealers, as well as large foreign investors.
Since 2007, ATFBank has been a member of UniCredit group, one of the largest European custodians actively operating in 14 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, with its custodian network covering 63 markets across the globe. Combined assets under UniCredit's custodian supervision are estimated at over EUR80 bn. The total staff busy with custody at UniCredit Group numbers 230 people.
Along with ATFBank, the "Global Custodian" gave its credits to European banks from UniCredit group located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Russian Federation, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic and Ukraine.
