According to AFS, Kazakhstan net pension assets reach KTZ2,206.6 billion ($15.0 billion) as of December 1, 2010
/IRBIS, December 8, 2010/ - According to the data of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations (AFS), the total amount of net pension assets (PA) in the republic (total pension assets excluding obligations on charged commission interests, creditors' debts on pension payments) as of December 1, 2010 reached KTZ2,206.6 billion. (or equivalent of $14,951.8 million at the weighted average exchange rate effective on the mentioned date). Corresponding indicator as of November 1, 2010 is KTZ2,168.7 billion or $14,696.0 million.
In November 2010 net assets of accumulative pension funds (APF) grew by 1.7% (by 1.7% in dollar terms) relative to the previous month.
As of the beginning of December 2010, the total sum of pension assets made KZT2,207.7 bln., of which KZT2,180.0 bln. were invested.
Total for November 2010 in the country worked three specialized organizations engaged in investment management of pension assets (IMPA), and 13 of the NPF. Nine funds - JSC "Accumulation Pension Fund of the People's Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC "SPC" SAPF, JSC NPF BTA Kazakhstan TO BTA Bank "JSC," SPF "Capital", JSC "SPC" Kazakhmys " JSC "OSPF" Otan ", JSC" SPC "Oil & Gas-Dem", JSC "SPC" Republic "and Eurasian NPF managers of pension assets on their own. The share of the PA under management of those funds, was at the beginning of December 2010 74.2% of the PA of the country (on 1 November 2010 - 74.2%).

The biggest APF by the end of November 2010 from the viewpoint of net PA volume (in descending order of PA amount): APF National Saving Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, APF SAPF JSC and APF Ular Ymit JSC.
By the volume of the managed assets APF National Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC is still leading (31.5% of all PA in management). The second place belongs to APF SAPF JSC (16.6%), the third place- APF Ular Umit JSC (13.9%).
The highest asset growth rate in November, 2010 was recorded in APF GRANTUM JSC (2.5% in KZT terms). In absolute monetary terms on the biggest amount of asset growth the leader is APF National Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (growth by KZT15,246.6). The second place by this indicator belongs to APF SPF JSC (by KZT8,480.0) and the third place belongs to APF GRANTUM JSC (growth by KZT4,588.5).
