National Company KazMunayGaz (Kazakhstan) increases oil product reserves at petroleum storage facility DPF

/KASE, November 22, 10/ - National Company KazMunayGaz (Astana), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided to KASE the following press-release of November 22, 2010: quote National Company KazMunayGaz (hereinafter - NC KMG) controls 9.67% of DPF (Depot Petrolier de Fos) in France via its foreign subsidiary Dyneff (100% owned by The Rompetrol Group N.V.). DPF is a central storage and sale facility supplying with oil products oil refineries like Total La Mede, Ineos Lavera, Esso Fos and Lyondell basell Berre, whose combined output makes up 30% of the total production volume of all 12 French oil refineries. The overall storage capability of the facility in southern France (near Marseilles) is 780,000 cubic metres. Annual volumes dispatched via sea, pipeline, and by tanks reach ca. 8 m cubic metres. The oil storage facility is certified at ISO 9001-14001-18001. Currently, the storage space owned by Dyneff in DPF, has reached 83,234 cubic metres. Under the recent renovation (2009 to 2010) the intake of reservoirs at the facility was increased by 80,000 cubic metres to 860,000 cubic metres. The increase was fully funded by DPF. NC KMG, on its part, managed to rise its capabilities by 10,000 cubic metres via Dyneff. Oil products at DPF are kept in 40 reservoirs under appropriate strict technical safety rules. Completing in 2011 of renovation of DPF, as one of NC KMG's strategically important terminals in France, will allow NC KMG to enhance through Dyneff its positions inside European logistical infrastructure.
