/IRBIS, October 29, 2010/ - In the U.S., the number of initial applications for unemployment benefits last week, which ended Oct. 23, 2010, compared to the same period previous week declined and reached 434,000. According to some data, the number of initial applications for unemployment benefits last week, which ended Oct. 16, 2010, totaled 455,000, but not 452,000 as previously reported.
