Government of Kazakhstan has approved the sectoral development program in the IT-sector for 2010-2014

/IRBIS, September 21, 2010/ - The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved a branch program of development of information and communication technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014. As the Minister of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan Mr. Askar Zhumagaliyev, representing the program during the visiting session of the government, a program of information and communication technology has been developed with the participation of Kazakhstan's online community, the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and international experts. The program was agreed with 25 government agencies, nongovernmental organizations, as well as akimats and universities. The first line of the program includes the introduction of modern technologies of 3G, 4G, LTE, NGN, CDMA, Wi-Max, FTTX, DWDM standards. In a second direction provides introduction of new advanced social projects, as well as development of IP-TV and internet TV projects on e-commerce and e-learning. "Implementation of these projects by 2015 will allow for every 1000 residents over 10 domains registered", - Mr. A. Zhumagaliyev. The third area involves the development of electronic licensing, electronic transactions for payment of various services and assumes the completion of the development of electronic government.
