It is reported that interesting proposals for development of the institute of public-private partnerships have been put forward by the Association of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
The representative of the Association of Mr. T.K. Doskenov suggested "legislate PPPs to the private sector were clear the form and procedure". Start with small projects, such as the use of (upgrading) of office buildings to turn them into modern business centers, taking into account that there will also be partially placed local authorities to equip their air-conditioned, to bring the Internet and thus effectively use the free space (maybe private traders for commercial purposes). He also suggested the educational courses on PPP in Kazakh universities.
Karaganda PPP Center presented information on current projects, procedures for preparation of the concession and the prospects for the region and city on the application of the PPP, thus called on private entrepreneurs, the financial community to cooperate and take initiatives that will support the center and consider the possibilities of their implementation on the basis of PPPs, and will also provide methodological support.
