/IRBIS, July 16, 2010/ - JSC KazTransOil in the first half of 2010 has increased
the volume of oil transportation by 6%, indicated the reported company.
As reported, such data were announced on July 15 this year at the expanded
meeting on the basis of production and financial activities KazTransOil held
under Mr. Sultan Nurbol Sarybayuly, chairman of General Director in Aktau.
As indicated, Mrs. Asem Nusupova, managing director of economics and
finance KazTransOil noted that within 6 months of 2010, the volume of oil
transportation system KazTransOil" amounted to 25 million 949 th. tones of oil,
which is 1 million 564 thousand tons more than was transported in the first half
of 2009 (a fact for 6 months of 2009 amounted to 24 million 385 thousand tons).
Increased transportation of oil through the pipeline system KazTransOil
associated with the growth of production and delivery of oil in the system of main
pipelines of the company's oil-producing companies.
Cargo oil through the oil pipelines KazTransOil for the period totaled 16 billion
628 million tons km, which is higher than the corresponding figure in 2009 to
514 million ton kilometers, or 3% (a fact for the first half of 2009. Totaled 16
billion . 114 million tons km.).
It is indicated that, compared with last year increased volumes of oil
transportation through trunk pipelines KazTransOil to refineries in the Republic
of Kazakhstan. Following 6 months of 2010 the volume of oil transportation to
refineries for processing of the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 6 million
446 thousand tons, an increase from 2009 to 1 million 470 thousand tons, or
30% (a fact for the first half of 2009 amounted to 4 million 976 thousand tons).
With regard to the outcome of financial and economic activity in the first half of
this year, then, according to updated information, the press service, during this
time the size of the company's revenues amounted to KZT58,993 million, which
is 9% higher than in 2009. With revenue from operating activities during the
reporting period amounted to KZT56,660, or 10% higher than in 2009. For his
part, total profits of the company, according to preliminary data for 6 months of
2010 amounted to KZT23,226 million, which is higher than the same indicator in
2009 to 67%. This increase is due, firstly, the launch of a new specific tariff on
exports of KZT3,331 per 1 ton per 1000 km, and secondly, increased volumes
of oil transportation.
Expenditure of the company in the first half of 2010 amounted to KZT32,321
million, which is 3% less than the planned volume. In comparison with that of 6
months of 2009, the company's expenses decreased by 10%.
