In Astana has been signed an agreement to establish a second Islamic bank in Kazakhstan

/IRBIS, July 19, 2010/ - National Financial Group of Malaysia AmanahRaya,
JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC and FATTAH FINANCE have
signed an agreement on the establishment of one more Islamic bank in
Kazakhstan today, on 19 July, Astana.
The document was signed by Mr. Ahmad Pavantehom Rhodes, head
AmanahRaya, Mr. Ghali Iskalievym Chairman of the Board of JSC
"Development Bank of Kazakhstan" and Mrs. Zaratkazy Nurpeissova
Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Fattah Finance".
In addition a contract was signed on cooperation between "AmanahRaya",
JSC "Kaznex invest" and JSC "Fattah Finance" to create in Kazakhstan Halal
Hub, logistics center of Halal products and services.
As noted by Mr. Aset Isekeshev, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan,
Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan at a briefing,
Kazakhstan is actively started working with the countries of the Islamic world.
"We think that we should develop a new joint plan for the next few years and
go to the specific joint projects. We have already begun work on such projects
in energy, tourism, industry and Islamic banking. This is very important in the
run-up to Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Organization of Islamic
Conference and foresight of the seventh Islamic Economic Forum to be held in
our country in the coming year ", - said Mr. A. Isekeshev.
