/IRBIS, June 29, 2010/ - In Akmola region commissioned two independent
energy complexes on the basis of wind and solar energy, reports on June 28
press-service of JSC Kazatomprom.
As indicated, wind stations will provide coverage of the object "forest reserve"
in the so-called "green belt of the capital." The complexes are based on "wind
rotor turbine Bolotov" - a unique development of a well-known Kazakh
scientist, doctor of technical sciences, Academician Mr. Albert Bolotov, which
has no analogues in the world. This plant has a very high rate of installed
capacity - up to 43%.
In addition, the kit includes wind turbines solar panels and gel batteries. If
there is no sun, no wind power facility will go through and stored in the battery
power.
Construction of wind power plants is part of the development at JSC
Kazatomprom "large-scale development program in Kazakhstan, an
alternative" green "energy and include it in the country's energy program for
industrial and innovation development, indicated in the message.
Production of wind power plants are planned in Ust-Kamenogorsk JSC
"Mashzavod" that is part of Kazatomprom. The company plans to provide
energy to about 180,000 farms, most of whom (90%) have no access to
centralized power, small towns in remote areas, repeaters, border outposts,
border surveillance system, maintenance of oil and gas pipelines, related to
the consumers first categories.
As indicated, to date in Kazakhstan already has more than 20 such stations in
remote areas Qyzylorda, Aktobe, and South Kazakhstan regions.
