Currency traded value falls 16.1 %, reaches KZT2.7 trln (USD18.3 bn)

/KASE, April 5, 10/ - in the first three months of Y2010 currency traded value on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swaps transactions, reached KZT2,705.6 bn (USD18,322.1 m) and fell against the same period of the last year 16.1 % (21.8 % in dollar terms). As compared to the previous three-month period (October-December Y2009) traded value dropped 8.2 % (7.0 % in dollar terms).
