Thus the news background on Tuesday was positive enough: an index of consumer trust in January, 2010 grew to 55.9 points at the forecast in 53.5 points. Corporate reports also have shown quite good results of activity of the companies of the USA last quarter. Shares of Apple Inc, grew on 1.4 % after the company informed on profit growth on 50 % to $3.67 on the share, analysts expected profit at a rate of $2.07 on the share. Shares of insurer Travelers have grown on 2.7 %, the profit of the company following the results of the fourth quarter grew on 60 %. The European markets showed opposite dynamics, having finished day growth of indexes. Support to moods of investors was rendered by messages on growth of an index of consumer trust in the USA. Shares Siemens AG have risen in price for 4.9 % as the company net profit for the first quarter 2009-2010 has grown on 24 % to 1.53 billion euro. [2010-01-27]
