Kazakhstan and Kuwait signed two investment agreements

/IRBIS, January 20, 2010/ - Kazakhstan and Kuwait signed two investment
agreements stated in the Jan. 19 report published by Kuwait Times.
As part of the growing business interests in foreign countries, Kuwait has signed
two investment projects in Kazakhstan - are given in the message the words of
Ahmad Al-Wazzan, Deputy Honorary Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce
and Industry of Kuwait (KCCI).
As reported, he met with members of the Kazakhstan delegation to its
headquarters in Kuwait. Both sides agreed to implement projects in Astana.
Additional details of the agreements signed in the message are not indicated.
As noted in the report, these projects are necessary for the development of trade
and economic cooperation between the two countries, which are on a record low.
Politically speaking, our bilateral relations have been very significant, but in
terms of economic relations, we have limited access. We want to intensify our
cooperation, - said Al-Wazzan
The Kazakh delegation headed by Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Finance
of the Republic of Kazakhstan Natalya Korzhova. The delegation included
representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of
Transport and Communications, Ministry of Environment, Investment Committee,
Ministry of Industry and Trade, holding KazAgro,National Welfare Fund Samruk-
Kazyna and leaders of several commercial banks.
