In order to get precise short names of the other companies (except KAZAKHMYS PLC and ENRC PLС) it is necessary to put JSC before the names given in the table, and the name itself to put in the inverted commas. Notes to table Market capitalization of the company - value, which equals to the product of the amount of the company's shares (common and preferred) that are in circulation (of paid shares), and the weighted average market price of the deals, made at KASE in this share during the whole last trade day in these shares. The indicator of the company's market capitalization is computed in Kazakhstan tenge. It is converted to U.S. dollar according to the weighted average rate of tenge to dollar as on the date of ranking compilation. Quantity of paid shares is determined by KASE independently on the basis of the data of the register holder of a listing company and the company itself as the number of shares of the listing company minus purchased by it. It is noteworthy, KASE takes into account with a view of the company's market capitalization the new value of the number of paid shares not as of the date of compiling the extract from the register, but as of the date of receiving this extract by the stock exchange (more precisely, as of the date of its processing by the exchange). Shortcomings of this method are obvious. However, the application of another method is not considered possible, since KASE computes capitalization indicator daily, considers it in the indexes values, and cannot re-count this indicators backdating. According to the Listing rules, companies, securities of which were included in the official securities list of KASE, at present must provide the exchange with the extracts from share register at the beginning of each calendar quarter. Each extract is processed by KASE either on the day of receipt or the next working day. However, most of issuers give extracts as of the date specified in it with a substantial delay (from several days till a number of months). Frankly speaking, among companies submitting excerpts with deep delay as a rule are production organizations with rarely changing authorized capital. Share of the company, % - index, obtained by referring market capitalization of the company to summary capitalization of stock exchange's market of shares of official securities list of KASE and expressed in percentage. At closing of the market on Nov. 30, 2009 this indicator made USD 58,059.7 m. 101 shares of 75 issuers were in the official list of securities of KASE. [2009-12-01]
