The antimonopoly agency of Kazakhstan revealed anticompetitive arrangement in the petroleum products market

/IRBIS, December 28, 09/ - The antimonopoly agency revealed the anticompetitive co-ordinated actions in the Kazakhstan market of combustive- lubricating materials, is specified in the message of department extended on December, 26th. As it is specified in the message, this point in question has been discussed on December, 25th, 2009 on board meeting of Agency of Republic Kazakhstan on competition protection (Antimonopoly agency)." Following the results of the investigations of activity of subjects of the market realizing PETROLEUM PRODUCTS in the Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan areas, established facts of the co-ordinated actions of subjects of the markets on an establishment of the price of realization, and also PETROLEUM PRODUCTS realization only under coupons ", - it is specified in the message. In this connection concerning the given subjects the department Board supported the decision on excitation of affairs on administrative offences according to article 147 of KoAp Republic of Kazakhstan. As a whole the sum of the penalties imposed by antimonopoly body and the withdrawn exclusive income preliminary will make more than 500 million tenge (national currency of Kazakhstan). Besides, by earlier approved results of investigations of activity of suppliers of PETROLEUM PRODUCTS on a city of Almaty are brought actions about administrative offences, materials on them also are in court. Results of investigations on other regions will be taken out on following board meeting of Agency. Also the Board Agency decided to prolong investigation concerning group "KazMunaiGaz" concerning creation of artificial deficiency of gasoline.
