Astana-Finance (Kazakhstan) and its creditors sign a debt restructuring agreement November 12, 2009

/KASE, November 16, 09/ - Astana-Finance (Astana), a company listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release dated November 16, 2009: Quotation begins Astana-Finance (the Company) (on behalf of itself and subsidiaries of Astana Finance B.V.) informed the company entered into a Term Sheet with the Creditors Committee, specifying terms of restructuring of financial liabilities. The company and the Creditors Committee agreed in the Term Sheet on general terms of restructuring, compliance with which is dependent on implementation of a number of measures specified in the Term Sheet. Creditors are Nomura International Plc, Banco Finantia SA, Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited, Landesbank Berlin AG, and Portland Worldwide Investments Ltd. The company is delighted with results of the restructuring, achieved for the time being, and is grateful to the Creditors for the support in the restructuring process and is expecting the restructuring process to end in the nearest time.
