/IRBIS September 14, 2009/ - BTA Securities Subsidiary of BTA Bank
(Almaty, BTA Securities) provided its main survey of events and investment
ideas and forecast to IRBIS on September 14, 2009.
According to the report, the company analysts expect:
- a decrease of major indexes quotations in Europe and the USA is expects.
Pressure on the indices will fix the profits players on the market after the
stock market improved significantly in the last week. Pressure will also be
felt by the commodity market, where the expected negative trend in prices
for oil and metals on the background of strengthening U.S. dollar against
the euro. Data on employment and industrial production in the euro area, in
the case of positive, could support only a few stock quotes in the region.
Dynamics of futures for the major indexes still speaks of the negative
dynamics of the U.S. market today. Technical analysis gives a signal down
on all the major indexes.
- KASE index may decline after the expected fall in European stock markets
and commodity prices.
- Today, the analysts of BTA Securities expect fixation profits on the shares
and GDRs of Kazakh banks, under pressure from the expected negative
dynamics of foreign markets.
- in the near future quotations of domestic oil companies likely will continue
decline in response to falling oil prices. Cost of black gold will be under
pressure to strengthen the U.S. dollar and concerns about declining energy
demand.
- the analysts of BTA Securities expect the decline of stock price of domestic
steel companies in response to the negative dynamics of prices for
industrial metals under pressure from a possible strengthening of the U.S.
dollar and worries about demand for raw materials.
- on September, 14 is expecting a technical straightening of the U.S. dollar
against the euro.
