/KASE, August 24, 09/ - According to trade in shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on August 24, 2009 KASE Index grew 44.50 points (3.3 %) from 1,337.09 to 1,381.59.
The first deal saw the index at 1,338.23. During the trade the index maximum was 1,381.59, with the minimum - 1,338.53.
Volume of deals in shares listed on the representative list on August 24 fell against the previous trading day in KZT terms by 11.7 % and reached KZT110.5 m (USD732.8 th).

If during a trading day no deals are made in a representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the last resultant trade session are used.
