/KASE, July 30, 09/ - KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (Astana), shares of which are present in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) official list, disseminated the following press release: quotation start JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production ("the Company" or "KMG EP") announces that pursuant to the Share Buy Back Programme commenced on 24 November, 2008, on 29 July 2009 the Company acquired 29 of its ordinary shares (KASE:RDGZ) on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange at an average price of KZT 18,000 each. Since the start of the Share Buy Back Programme, the Company has purchased in aggregate 8,699,697 GDRs and 110,632 ordinary shares.
