/KASE, June 30, 09/ - KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (Astana), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), issued a statement: Quotation beginning JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production ("the Company" or "KMG EP") announces that pursuant to the Share Buy Back Programme commenced on 24 November, 2008, on June 29, 2009 the Company acquired 185,000 global depository receipts ("GDR") on the London Stock Exchange at an average price USD18.3068 a GDR. Since the start of the Share Buy Back Programme, the Company has purchased in aggregate 6,501,697 GDRs and 108,963 common shares.
