BTA ORIX Leasing (Kazakhstan) repaid bonds KZ2CKY03B815 (BTLZb1)

/KASE, January 9, 09/ - BTA ORIX Leasing (Almaty) informed Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) by the official letter on repayment of its bonds KZ2CKY03B815 (KASE official list, the second subcategory of "Non-rated Debt Securities", BTLZb1; KZT100, KZT2.0 bn.; December 30, 05 - December 30, 08, the annual coupon indexed on the inflation rate, 10.00 % APR for the reporting period), within which on December 31, 2008 was repaid the debt and paid the last third coupon interest to holders of mentioned bonds. According to the mentioned message the debt payment amount made up KZT1,989,600,000.00, the total amount of accrued coupon interest made up KZT198,960,000.00 (including the income tax withheld in the payment source in the amount of KZT2,124,000.00). As follows from the official explanation of BTA ORIX Leasing, the difference between the total face value of mentioned bonds and the debt payment amount occurred because the mentioned issuer repaid only "circulating debt".
