KASE (including STF RFCA) transactions turnover for initial 10 months of 2008 INcreases by 0.5 % in relation to corresponding period of 2007
/IRBIS, Vitaliy Tomskiy, November 7, 08/ - The total volume of transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in all sectors of the market, including special trade floor of regional financial center of Almaty (STF RFCA) reached an equivalent of $266,907.7 m. or KZT32,095.4 bn. for the first 10 months, 2008. The volume of transactions increased by 0.5 % in dollar equivalent and decreased by 1.6 % tenge equivalent compared to the corresponding period in 2007.
Relative to the previous ten-month period (March-December 2007) the exchange turnover has decreased by 3.5 % in dollar equivalent and by 5.0 % in tenge equivalent.
