Kazakhstan to separate $10 bn. out of National Fund for stabilization program

/REUTERS, Astana, Raushan Nurshaeva, October 13, 08/ - The authorities of Kazakhstan will take $10 bn. from the National Fund for the economy and financial system stabilizion program, meant for 2009-2010, the president Nursultan Nazarbaev announced on Monday. Kazakhstan banks, actively borrowing abroad, suffered from global liquidity crisis, which broke out in the second half of last year. "The government will be provided with $10 bn. from the National Fund for financing of high-priority measures for 2009-2010 under worked out stabilization program for purpose" - Nazarbaev said, speaking at the government session. October last year, by the order of the president $4 bn. was separated out of the state budget for banking system and republic's constructive sector support. [2008-10-13]
