Board of Directors of ASTEL JSC (Kazakhstan) decided to open the credit line in SB HSBK Bank Kazakhstan JSC to the amount of $3.9 m.

/KASE, July 21, 08/ - ASTEL JSC (Almaty), shares of which are included into Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) category "B" official list, informed KASE by the official letter that on July 14, 2008, the company's Board of Directors decided to borrow loans of SB HSBK Bank Kazakhstan JSC (Almaty) on the following terms: - loan amount - USD3 900 000.00; - repayment period - during three years; - interest rate - at effective rates of SB HSBK Bank Kazakhstan JSC; - security for credit - against the pledge to SB HSBK Bank Kazakhstan JSC of ASTEL JSC property as ownership with the total assessed value not less than $8.0 m. In the letter ASTEL JSC informs that loans are borrowed in order to buy offices and equipment, renewal of the circulating capital, implementation of investment activities and currency transactions.
