/REUTERS, Almaty, July 15, 2008/ - Output of copper in Kazakhstan within the period of January - June of 2008 decreased by 11.3 %, compared to the similar period of the previous year, to 184.480 tones, the Statistics Agency informed.

Non-processed zinc production within the same period decreased by 1.3 % to 183.492 tons. Production of alumina increased by 10.9 % and made 842.554 tons.
