Kazakhstan to enter the fifth major uranium producers in the world

/INTERFAX-AFI, Moscow, July 10, 08/ - According to Luxembourg Euratom Supply Agency, Kazakhstan entered the fifth major uranium producers in the world by results of 2007. Last year leading producers were Canada and Australia, after them Kazakhstan and Russia, Bloomberg agency informed. Namibia and SAR close the fifth. In the whole, uranium production in the world in 2007 made, by Euratom estimation, 41.264 th. ton, compared to 39.567 th. ton a year before. [2008-07-11]
