Nearest oil futures prices decrease 3.77 % - 3.83 % on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, July 9, 08/ - By the results of trades of July 8 this year: - on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with delivery in August 2008 decreased by 3.77 % to $136.04 per barrel; - on ICE (London) price of August Brent Forties Oseburg futures fell by 3.83 % to $136.43 per barrel Oil went down sharply on USD appreciation after the head of FRS, Ben Bernarke`s announcement, that USA FRS may continue to directly credit major American financial companies by emergency loan programs in 2009. G8 announcement on necessity to increase oil production and processing have exerted more pressure to drag quotations down. Thereupon, G8 offered "to increase production and processing in short term prospect and take joint measures on expanding investments in exploration, production, processing and sales in medium term prospect"; and to create an energy forum to establish a dialogue between energy producers and consumers.
