/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, July 3, 08/ - In initial 6 months of 2008 the volume of the repo transactions concluded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) totaled KZT9,274.7 bn. ($76,953.1 m.) and decreased by 25.4 % (23.8 % in dollar terms) compared to the corresponding period last year.

In 2007 the volume of corresponding transactions on KASE made up KZT25,700.6 bn. ($209,759.7 m.).
