/IRBIS, Vitaliy Tomskiy, June 5, 08/ - In May of 2008 the total volume of transactions made on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in dollar terms decreased by 21.2% relative to the previous month and totaled an equivalent of $18,593.5 m. In tenge, the fall is estimated at 21.1% and the volume of exchange operations at KZT2,241.9 bn.
The volume of exchange operations decreased by 25.1% in dollar and 24.9% in tenge terms relative to May, 2007
