Shareholders of SB Sberbank JSC (Kazakhstan) approved the annual financial statement and decided not to pay dividends for 2007

/KASE, May 29, 08/ - SB Sberbank JSC (Almaty, hereinafter - the bank), bonds of which are traded in the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) category "A" official list, informed KASE by the official letter ob decisions of the bank's shareholders annual general meeting, held on May 27, 2008. According to the message, shareholders of the bank made the following decisions: - approve the financial statement of the bank for 2007; - do not pay dividends for 2007, allocate to forming of the bank's reserve capital; - extend the bank's Board of Directors authorities in the previous composition. "The bank assets for 2007 increases by 115% and make up KZT57 499 588 th., the equity capital increased by 8.6 times up to KZT32 016 159 th., the bank's net income increased by 28% - 1 251 203 th., loans to clients increased by 43%, and current accounts and clients deposits by 13%. These numbers are evidence of further strengthening of the bank's positions on the Kazakhstan market, and improvement of its activities efficiency", - informs the letter. [2008-05-29]
