/KASE, April 14, 08/ - Being governed by Rules of Assessment of the Financial Instruments, Listed in the Investment Portfolios of Accumulative Pension Funds (Rules), approved by resolution No. 109 of the Board of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations (AFS) of March 26, 2005 and actualized in compliance with resolution No. 227 of AFS Board of October 27, 2006, KASE publishes in the table as follows

The Rules ( see more define the criteria, according to which the exchange market of the share should be related to the active market. If such market in respect of the share exists, the share market valuation should be conducted in compliance with the market valuation methodology of the trade organizer. Otherwise the shares, listed in the investment portfolios of accumulative pension funds, should be valuated in compliance with item 9 of the Rules.
As follows from the table afore published, as on April 14, 2008 of 91 shares, listed in the KASE trading lists, two securities comply with AFS criteria in regard of the active market.
KASE draws attention of the Media representatives that publishing of the information afore stated does not imply the availability or absence of the share market operating in Kazakhstan. The activity grade of this market in the block published is assessed in compliance with AFS criteria for the purposes strictly determined.
