Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC informed about signing of memorandum about mutual understanding between Daewoo Securities (South Korea) and Halyk Finance JSC

/KASE, March 12, 08/ - Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC (Almaty) had distributed the press-release in which is informed about signing on March 10, 2008 of memorandum about mutual understanding between Daewoo Securities and Halyk Finance JSC, being the investment subdivision of Halyk Group. According to press-release both companies negotiated about mutual cooperation in sphere of investment-banking activities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. "Daewoo Securitiesis planning the issue of different financial products for corporate and retail clients in Korea with objective of investing to Kazakhstan and Central-Asian enterprisers, using the knowledge of local specifics and clients' base of Halyk Finance", - is indicated in the press-release.
